Tenfold is made by one person. If something is broken or confusing, tell me and I will actually read it.
Inside the app: Settings → Report a problem. That sends me what you write plus your app and iOS versions, which usually saves a round of questions. It never sends your movies, ratings or notes.
Your notes are encrypted with a key that lives on your devices and travels between them through iCloud Keychain, which is not instant. On a new device, give it a few minutes and reopen the app — locked notes become readable on their own, with nothing to tap. Your existing notes are never overwritten while this is happening.
Open the movie, tap ⋯, then Change poster… to search for the right one. To fill in a lot at once: Settings → Find missing posters.
Check you are signed into the same account on both, and that both have a connection. Sync runs by itself a few seconds after a change. If Settings shows changes pending for a long time, send me a problem report.
Settings → Account → Export my library. You get a spreadsheet of every movie with all ten scores, dates and notes, readable, that opens in Numbers, Excel or Google Sheets.
Settings → Account → Delete my account. It deletes everything, on the phone and on the server, permanently. Export first if you want a copy.
Enjoyment, acting, characters, story, dialogue, pacing, sound, cinematography, theme and rewatchability — each out of 10, folded into one number out of 100. Comedies are weighted differently by default, because a comedy that makes you laugh is doing its job; you can turn that off in Settings.
